Exercise and Activity Levels

Your Frenchie doesn’t require intense exercise but staying active is crucial for maintaining good health. Aim for short walks early (15-20 minutes) in the day or during cooler evenings to prevent overheating due to their large respiratory systems. French Bulldogs are prone to obesity, so regular play sessions will help keep the weight off. If you live in an apartment, you’ll be glad Frenchies don’t need much space to stay active. Don’t overexert them, especially in hot weather, and keep your French Bulldog cool.

Keep Your French Bulldog Looking Good

Grooming your French Bulldog is not just about keeping them looking their best. It’s also about nurturing a sturdy companion by preventing skin issues. Regular brushing will reduce shedding and can be a lovely chance to cuddle and bond. Clean their distinctive facial folds regularly to avoid infection. If you don’t regularly walk your Frenchie on pavements or roads they need their nails clipped.

I can assure you French Bulldogs make you smile when walking (or trying to) on wooden floors when their nails haven’t been clipped!
